This month's Crafternoon will be a exciting sewing afternoon with Nat Perks (www.natalieperks.com) where she will share her embroidery skills and techniques with us to show us how to mend holes on denim with embroidery stitches. We will learn to jazz up holes on our clothing by discovering decorative stitches that will make the damaged area look more like design feature. In this workshop, materials, tools, needles and thread will be provided so you can just bring along a pair of jeans or denim item for mending, or we can provide scrap pieces of denim for you to learn the skill. We hope to see you there!
Crafternoon workshop is a monthly event where we can escape the distraction of our home life and enjoy some teas and do some sewing! Tea and Coffee provided.
What to bring to the workshop:
- Denim item for mending (scraps will be provided if you don't have an garment for mending)
- snacks and treats to share (We have a kitchenette here)
