Private lessons at T I K K I Studio allows you to customize your learning while working around your schedule. In our lessons, we will focus on mastering the basics of sewing and steadily challenging ourselves with new skills.

Beginners Lessons will start with all the sewing basics with familiarizing ourselves with the tools and machinery, giving the sewing machine some love and attention by practicing sewing lines while learning how to handle the fabric when sewing. When you get more comfortable with the movements, we will proceed to your first project to utilize your new skills. As you improve, we can move on to more challenging skills like using a serger, working with commercial patterns etc.

Advanced lessons will include perfecting your sewing skills, introduction to pattern drafting/ manipulations and design. In addition to that, we can also provide guidance for creating an effective portfolio for university applications.

Private lessons are $65/hr with 1hr or 2 hr option

​

*We recommend starting with 2hr lessons if you don't have prior sewing experience.
